Legal Notice
Updated: December 20, 2025
1. Overview of Service
EditWordly provides free online text processing utilities. By accessing our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to every clause within this document, you are strictly prohibited from using the platform.
Our service is designed as a "No-Cloud" utility. We provide the logic, and your browser provides the execution environment. This fundamental architecture informs all of our legal standing regarding data liability.
2. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Permitted: You are encouraged to use EditWordly for personal, academic, and commercial text processing. You may use the output for any project, including paid professional work.
Prohibited: You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer the unique layout or UI elements of the platform.
- Use automated scripts to scrape content or tools from the site.
- Embed EditWordly tools into other sites without explicit attribution and a direct link back to the source.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Property: All site design, logos, iconography, custom styling, and site architecture are the exclusive property of EditWordly.
Your Property: We claim zero ownership over the text you input or the processed output. Unlike many cloud services, we do not require a license to use your content for "service improvement" or "AI training." Your data remains 100% yours.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
"THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' BASIS. EDITWORDLY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT."
We strive for extreme accuracy in our tools (e.g., word counting algorithms, JSON validation), but we cannot be held responsible for errors in output that lead to professional, financial, or academic consequences.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall EditWordly be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any content obtained from the service.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. The "Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest changes. Continued use of EditWordly after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
7. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to block access to the site for any user found to be abusing our infrastructure or violating these terms, without prior notice.
Questions regarding these terms should be sent to m69736956@gmail.com
